Bus rapid transit (BRT) is a term applied to a variety of public transportation systems using buses to provide faster, more efficient service than an ordinary bus line. Often this is achieved by making improvements to existing infrastructure, vehicles and scheduling. The goal of these systems is to approach the service quality of rail transit while still enjoying the flexibility of bus transit on the other hand it would be just little bit more expensive then normal bus but provides faster and convenience service.

The expression BRT is mainly used in 12 stations such as Sathorn, Akan Songkor, Yen Akart, Thanon Chan, Nararam 3 , Wat Dan , Wat Pariwat , Wat Dokmai , Saphan Rama 9, Charoenrat, Saphan Rama 3 and Ratchapruek.

Starting from 15th May to 31st August 2010 using BRT service is free of charged after that service charges will be 10 bath per trip all calls to another 4 months and determination completely open on 2nd January 2011. The fare depending on distance from 12 bath up to 20 bath per person. This is an opportunities for Bangkok populace to receive comfortable bus express services.

The fare from the table is relates to Route Map above. For example:
- Departure from Station 1 to Arrival Station 8 = 16 Baht
- Departure from Station 12 to Arrival Station 3 = 18 Baht

BRT systems come in a variety of forms, such as dedicated bus ways with their own rights-of-way. High-quality BRT systems often feature significant investment in enclosed stations which may incorporate attractive below :
- Sliding glass doors.
- Staffed ticket booths.
- Information booths.
- Safe with high technology brake.
- CCTV outside and at the back of a bus, which live in the driver’s console.
- Press the button to request an emergency stop. And fire extinguishers.
- Display next stations on the screen.
- Handle and locking device around with swivel chair.
- High technology suspension installed.
- Interchange to BTS at Chong Nonsi station.

Opening Hours:
- Daily from 06.00 am. - Midnight including holiday bus come every 10 minutes.,
Additional: Monday to Friday (Rush Hours Service) between 06.30 am. - 09.30 am. and 04.00 pm. - 08.00 pm. bus come every 5 minutes.
